Bridge Ward Club and Chairman’s Charities

Each year the Club makes a donation to the Ward Church of St Magnus, the Lord Mayor’s Appeal and the Norwegian Scholars’ Trust. 

Since the creation of the ‘Chairman’s Charity’ in 2017, money raised from walks and various other fund raising activities, is donated to a charity designated by the Chairman of that year.

To date over £4,000 has been donated to charities such as the Multiple Sclerosis Trust, Cambridge Samaritans and last year to the Bridge Ward 5 a side Challenge Cup for less privileged children in or around the Ward.

The Chairman’s Charity for 2022/23 is the Tom Bowdidge Youth Cancer Foundation.
